Dr. Tanda N. Lane, MD, FAAD received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed an internship in General Surgery, where she was awarded the 2003 Thomas Gadacz Surgical Intern of the Year Award in General Surgery. She subsequently completed her Dermatology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she then went on to become a Clinical Assistant Professor in Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine and continues to train medical students, residents and Dermatology fellows.
Dr. Lane is also a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She is active in the dermatology and academic community with multiple scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to being a key clinical trial investigator in aesthetic chemical peels and a phase 3 clinical investigator in the efficacy and safety of injectable biologics for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, and pediatric atopic dermatitis.
Dr. Lane specializes in both medical and aesthetic Dermatology and is a recognized aesthetic Expert Injector, the only organization to have the endorsement of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She was awarded a 2020 Aesthetic Everything Blue Diamond Crystal Award for “Top Dermatologist” and “Top Aesthetic Doctor and Medical Office.” She has also completed Masters of Aesthetics certifications and has specifically been featured in National Aesthetic Publications to include New Beauty and New You Magazines.
Her private practice is highly respected and was named Columbus’ Small Business Giant of the Year for 2014. Additionally, she has been named “Favorite Dermatologist” and “Best All Around Dermatologist” from regional magazines and has been the Georgia Ledger Enquirer’s Reader’s Choice Dermatologist for the past 12 years.
Dr. Lane is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, as well as a member for the Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery.
