The Doctors at Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery are trained in all forms of invasive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery procedures. Skin cancers, abnormal moles, cysts, lipomas, and other growths that are either dangerous or symptomatic can be removed surgically in an outpatient setting without the need for general anesthesia. For patients with large tumors or small children who cannot tolerate surgery in the office setting, Dr. Joshua Lane can perform dermatologic surgery in one of many hospital operating rooms in Columbus, including The Medical Center, Northside Medical Center (Hughston Hospital), and the Surgery Center. Other growths such as moles on the faces, scars, or other unsightly spots can be removed solely for cosmetic improvement of the skin.
Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic surgical services for the management of skin cancer, skin conditions that require surgery, reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, and aesthetic surgery. This is performed in our state-of-the art surgical suites and in our new AAAHC-certified Ambulatory Surgery Center. Of note, Lane Dermatologic Surgery Center is one of only three credentialed Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the state of Georgia.
